This is a creative piece I wrote and then presented during a workshop period in this class. The version presented here has been edited based on feedback from the workshop. In this class we worked through the quarter on creating a short portfolio case study based on a central topic or idea in our writing. The portfolio, this piece, the ideas and characters are centered around the idea of failed and complicated friendship, but this piece builds the foundation of a friendship prior to it's end. It focuses on internal character monologue, character development, world building and is an exercise in fictional story telling lacking dialogue. This piece was not included in the class portfolio. The characters introduced in this work are the same in the second work I have presented here, but the pieces are not necessarily fully written to go together, and are meant to stand alone, despite complimenting each other.
